Cuban Street Art

One thing that Cuba does very well, is allow street art to enliven its cities. I was surprised to find that, despite all the regulations communism imposes, street art enjoys a relative freedom from this ideology.

Here are some of my favourite murals:

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye –  Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, ‘The Little  Prince’

My favourite art was, in classic Banksy style, a social commentary.

Not sure if I adequately capture the sombre sight: ‘help’ coming from a slum.
